Vast colonies of penguins, hundreds of whales, seals, countless seabirds, and massive glaciers in deep shades of blue — all await you on our journey to the seventh continent.
Antarctica has always captured the imagination of humankind and the world’s great explorers: from Shackleton to Scott and Amundsen. All were drawn to the allure of the unknown — conquering the southernmost edge of the world, with some even giving their lives for the cause.
We invite you on a once-in-a-lifetime adventure to explore the most extraordinary continent on Earth. With the expert guidance of the PhotoTeva team, you’ll return home with the best possible experiences and memories.

A special charter flight from Punta Arenas, Chile, directly to King George Island in Antarctica, saving us days of sailing through the roughest seas in the world.
The Amazone sailing yacht is the perfect choice if you dream of experiencing Antarctica from a truly intimate perspective — authentic, adventurous, and close to nature. Built in the Netherlands in 1963 and adapted for polar expeditions, she is designed exclusively for small groups — just 17 travelers in total.
Thanks to her compact size, Amazone can reach remote landing sites that are inaccessible to larger ships, while offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere on board. Cabins are simple and functional, reflecting the spirit of true exploration. In the shared spaces, you’ll find a dining lounge and cozy common areas with open views of the surrounding wilderness — no crowds, no distractions, just you, the sea, and the polar landscapes.
This is not just a cruise. It’s a real expedition — eco-conscious, personal, and deeply moving. Exactly the way the edge of the world should be discovered.
Our package includes a direct flight from Chile to Antarctica — flying over the notorious Drake Passage.
Fortunately, there’s no need for you to experience the infamous Drake Passage yourself, with its towering waves and stormy seas. Instead of spending two and a half days each way crossing it — wasting precious time and energy — we simply fly over in a smooth two-hour chartered flight arranged exclusively for our expedition.
Upon landing at King George Island, Our Yacht – Amazone, will be waiting nearby. After a short walk, we’ll board Zodiacs that will take us straight to the vessel — our cozy home for the duration of this magical Antarctic journey.
Quality. Expertise. An Uncompromising Experience.
We are one of the most experienced and trusted companies specializing in Antarctic expeditions, with years of leadership in the field.
Our journeys are carefully crafted, led by world-class guides, and backed by extensive hands-on experience.
Our small expedition vessel provides greater access to landing sites, fewer restrictions, and more than double the time ashore. That means you’ll see more, photograph more, and experience Antarctica up close and personal.
What’s Special About the Season of Our Journey?
This is the time when nature is at its peak — with extraordinary moments that can only be seen once a year:
This is your chance to embark on a truly exceptional journey — at exactly the right time.
Arrive in Punta Arenas before 2:00 pm, where you will be welcomed by our staff and transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon, join a mandatory briefing with important trip information. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner of traditional Chilean cuisine together with your fellow adventurers and guides.Overnight in Punta Arenas.
Begin your Antarctic journey with a scheduled two-hour flight from Punta Arenas to King George Island. Upon landing, the crisp Antarctic air will greet you as you walk 2 km past Chile’s Frei Station to the shore. There, a Zodiac will take you to the Amazone. Soon after boarding, we’ll set course south toward the peninsula, reaching our first landing site by the next morning.
For nine full days, we’ll sail along the western coast of the Antarctic Peninsula, surrounded by towering glaciers, dramatic landscapes, and abundant wildlife. Each day we disembark by Zodiac to explore the best landing sites at the optimal times, guided by our expert team. On board, enjoy inspiring lectures and presentations, while our research permits and the small size of the Amazone grant us unparalleled flexibility — reaching more locations and enjoying experiences unavailable to larger ships.
We sail back toward King George Island and bid farewell to Antarctica. From there, board your flight back to Punta Arenas. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and enjoy the evening at your leisure.
After breakfast, transfer to Punta Arenas Airport for your journey home — or continue exploring the wild beauty of Tierra del Fuego.
Note: The detailed schedule is subject to change. It is possible that we may not complete all activities, depending on the weather, the location of the wildlife, and the decisions of the captain and crew.
