Includes air travel from Winnipeg to Churchill and from Churchill to a remote outpost out in the Canadian wilderness. All food, transportation, guiding and polar bear safety guards during the tour is included.

Your Guide And Expedition Leader - Roie Galitz

An award-winning wildlife photographer, entrepreneur and educator.
Greenpeace Global Ambassador for Arctic and Antarctic.

For the past 15 years, Roie is exploring and documenting our planet’s wildlife. His photographs get great exposure worldwide, millions of views and frequent appearances in the media (BBC, National Geographic and others). His images were presented in local and international exhibitions, featured in exclusive magazines and honored with many international awards over the years. His main attraction is the high Arctic and the Polar Bears. As an environmental diplomat, and a Greenpeace Ambassador, Roie has given 3 TED talks, spoke at the United Nations HQ, NY Climate Week and conventions all over the world. He is also a board member and on the advisory board for several environmental NGOs and a member of the Explorers Club.

Itinerary Details

Day 1
WELCOME TO WINNIPEG

A warm Canadian greeting welcomes you as you arrive in Winnipeg! We will arrange airport transfers to your pre trip accommodation. Traditional welcome dinner. Rest up at your Winnipeg accommodation it's a big day tomorrow.

Day 2
THE ARCTIC

We'll start our adventure to the arctic after breakfast. Take a flight from Winnipeg to Churchill where you'll be met by your Expedition Leader. Travel by Zodiacs and ATVs to your remote outpost cabin deep in the Canadian arctic outpost. We'll get settled as a group into our home away from home. The first day at the cabin will be spent getting comfortable with our surroundings, and spending some time connecting with nature. Day 1 will be our first half-day with the Polar Bears. Settle in to dinner with an engaging dinner Q&A with Martin and your Expedition Leader. Discover the stories that fuel Martin's passions for photography and filmmaking, as well as his plans for the future. Opportunity to ask lots of questions as a group.

POLAR BEARS IN BLOSSOM

It's time to be awe-inspired as we witness the majestic Polar Bears play in the Fireweed’s. Each morning we will enjoy a continental breakfast, plus tea and coffee to fuel up for the day. Heading off each day with Martin to his secret locations we'll have the opportunity to witness one of nature's most majestic creatures as they play in the summer Fireweeds. You'll have the opportunity to photograph them with Martin's guidance, or just spend hours being mesmerized as you witness the Polar Bear in its natural environment. Back at the cabin Roie Galitz and Martin will run Masterclasses on Polar Bears, Photography, Photo Editing, Landscape Photography and more. Each night will be spent sharing stories from the day over dinner.

HEADING BACK

Heading Back On our final day over breakfast you'll have the opportunity to sit with Martin for the final masterclass on photo editing. You'll get the opportunity to sit with him and learn from a master photographer. After breakfast we'll spend our final half day with the Polar Bears before saying goodbye and traveling back to Churchill. We'll travel via charter flight back to Winnipeg where it's time to check into your final night accommodation.

Flying Back Home After breakfast you can start making your way back home with awesome polar bear photos in your drive.

About Our Accommodation

We will sleep on a custom built cabin built on two interconnected barges, which are strategically placed on the island. This way, we are not dependent on the tides and weather to operate.
