M/S Quest – A Cozy Expedition Vessel for Polar Adventures
The M/S Quest was originally built in Denmark in 1992 to operate as a ferry along Greenland’s west coast. In 2004–2005, it was completely refurbished into a comfortable expedition vessel, with further renovations made to the passenger areas in 2018.
The ship accommodates up to 50 passengers in 24 exterior cabins, each with private bathroom facilities. Triple cabins feature upper and lower bunks, while all other cabins offer either two lower twin beds or a double bed. Each cabin includes a desk with a chair and storage space. The superior cabins are more spacious and feature armchairs and a TV.
The ship is ideal for cruising in Svalbard.
Between shore landings, guests can enjoy delicious meals in the dining room, while the panoramic lounge provides stunning views of the surrounding landscape and hosts evening lectures. The lounge also includes a bar and a small library.
Spacious observation decks offer perfect vantage points to soak in the spectacular scenery. The bridge is open 24/7 for guests – there’s always something to see or spot.
With a capacity of only 53 passengers, this isn’t a crowded cruise. A smaller group means more time with wildlife, closer encounters, and better photography opportunities – all in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, supported by an experienced international crew.
