The Sea Spirit is one of the most advanced and well-regarded ships for polar cruising, whether exploring Svalbard or other Arctic and Antarctic regions. It features exceptionally spacious cabins, all suites with private bathrooms and showers, an outdoor jacuzzi, a fitness room, a private chef, and a large team of expert lecturers, guides, and wildlife spotters.
Like some of the migratory birds we observe in the polar regions, the Sea Spirit follows the sun – sailing north in the summer and south in the winter – always ready for spontaneous discoveries, whether it’s a pod of whales, a family of polar bears, or breathtaking ice-covered peaks.
The ship is highly maneuverable and capable of navigating the narrow fjords of East Greenland and the small bays of Svalbard. In 2017, the Sea Spirit was refurbished to offer a unique blend of comfort and adventure for modern explorers.
Equipped with state-of-the-art Rolls Royce Zero Speed Stabilizers, the vessel ensures a smooth and stable journey through icy waters. These stabilizers reduce movement while the ship is anchored, moored, or cruising at low speed, decrease drag while sailing, and eliminate vibrations and noise—making the Sea Spirit exceptionally comfortable and stable.
